Best Spring Fruit Salad (no sugar added)

Molly LaFontaine
This is the best spring fruit salad, full of late winter and early spring/summer fruits! It has no sugar added, so the natural sweetness of the fruit can shine through. In our house, we love having a bowl with lunch on warm spring days!

Servings 4 cups (approximately)

Ingredients

  • 3 kiwis
  • 1 pound of strawberries (organic is best)
  • 1 mango
  • 1 apple (any kind, granny smith is our favorite for this recipe)
  • 1/2 of a lemon

Instructions

  • Rinse all fruit with water and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
  • Slice the apple into small chunks (you can leave peel on or take it off).
  • Slice the mango into small cubes (do this by cutting off the cheeks first then cutting those both into cubes out of the peel).
  • Peel and slice the kiwi into small chunks or thin round slices.
  • Take off the tops of the strawberries and slice them into small pieces.
  • Add all sliced fruit into a medium size mixing bowl. (Each fruit should give you about 1-1.5 cups)
  • Squeeze lemon juice over the top (as much or little as desired, I do about 2 tsp) and stir to combine. Enjoy!
