Coconut Hot Chocolate From Scratch

This coconut hot chocolate has a smooth silky texture, the perfect amount of cocoa, and is sweetened with honey.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 3/4 cups coconut milk (canned Simple Truth Coconut Milk is my favorite from Kroger)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 Tbsp raw honey
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Shake coconut milk carton or can before pouring into a saucepan on the stove.
  • Add cocoa powder, honey, and vanilla to pan and whisk together.
  • Heat mixture on medium for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve as is or strain with a fine mesh strainer for extra smoothness.
  • Enjoy!
