Ham and Cheese Oven Baked Sliders

Molly LaFontaine
Ham and cheese oven baked sliders will take lunch time to a new level! They're savory, cheesy, and full of flavor. Instead of a cold meat sandwich, whip up a batch of these sliders for lunchtime. If you're hosting friends and family or throwing a party, there's nothing more suiting! This recipe post includes a video tutorial so you can make it alongside me, step-by-step!

Cuisine Sourdough
Servings 6 sliders

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of uncured Canadian bacon (or ham)
  • 6 slices of provolone cheese (or any cheese you like)
  • 6 slider buns (I use homemade sourdough slider buns)
  • 2 Tbsp salted butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley flakes

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Slice slider buns 3/4 of the way in half with a serrated knife.
  • Place 1 slice of cheese folded in half and 1 slice of ham folded in half on each slider bun.
  • Place sliders in a rectangle 9x13" casserole dish in two rows of 3 so they are all touching.
  • In a small bowl combine melted butter, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, and dried parsley flakes with a spoon.
  • Pour mixture on the top of the sliders in the casserole dish then use a silicon kitchen brush to spread it over the buns.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops of the buns are golden brown. Enjoy!

Notes

You can make or buy the slider buns but I highly recommend making sourdough ones at home!

Storing Leftovers:

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can also freeze these sandwiches for up to 1 month.

Reheating Leftovers

To reheat leftover sliders, preheat the oven to 350 degrees and warm for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese melts and the ham is warm.
