Cuisine American
- 4 cups cold water
- 2 1/2 cups rolled oats (I use One Degree's Organic Sprouted Rolled Oats)
Add cold water and oats to a blender (cut recipe in half and do 2 smaller batches if you have a small blender)
Blend for 35-40 seconds, and pour through a fine mesh strainer into a large bowl (do not force liquid through the strainer, instead move the strainer around gently to filter the liquid)
Then pour strained milk back into the blender and blend for an additional 15-20 seconds.
Strain one more time and pour into a glass 1/2 gallon milk jug or container of choice.
Store in this air-tight container or jug for up to 5 days in the fridge (it will separate so be sure to shake before drinking).
