Iced London Fog From Scratch

Sipping an iced London fog on a hot summer day hits the spot. Each sip of this creamy milk tea is kissed with a bit of honey. You'll make this recipe over and over again! Ditch the premade drinks; this recipe is what you're craving.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups water
  • 3 Earl grey tea bags
  • 4 Tbsp raw honey
  • 1/2 cup milk or cream dairy or dairy-free

Instructions
 

  • Place water and tea bags in a saucepan and heat on medium-high moving the bags around occasionally.
  • Take the pan off the heat just before the water starts to boil (don’t let it boil).
  • Place the saucepan on a hot pad and let the tea cool for 5 minutes with the tea bags in.
  • After the 5 minutes is up take out the tea bags (without squeezing them) and stir in the milk and honey.
  • Pour the tea into 2 glasses, add ice, and enjoy!

Notes

Prefer it Hot?

If you prefer your London fog to be hot, follow the same instructions, except heat the milk on the stovetop before pouring it into the tea and leaving out the ice.
