Natural houseplant fertilizer is simple to make, budget-friendly, and protects your loved ones from harmful chemicals. The mixture of oats and tea naturally protects plants from pests and diseases!

Equipment

  • 1 pot
  • 1 Large glass bowl
  • 1 Spoon
  • 1 fine mesh strainer

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups water boiling
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 black tea bags/sachets

Instructions
 

  • Add water to a pot and bring to boil on the stovetop over high heat
  • Cut open tea bags/sachets and dump grounds into a large bowl
  • Add oats to bowl
  • Once water is boiling pour over ingredients in the bowl and mix with a spoon
  • After soaking, strain the mixture with a fine mesh strainer.
  • Use about 1/3 cup of this fertilizer for each plant, adjusting the amount as needed.
