Orange Soda Recipe From Scratch

There's something about a sip of refreshing orange soda that screams nostalgia. It's got the perfect orange-flavored notes and a fizz that takes you back to childhood. Depending on where you live or grew up you probably call it something different. I grew up in the Midwest using the term pop. Now I live in the South where it's called Coke, but for the benefit of this blog, I'm calling it soda.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 navel oranges (organic is best for flavor)
  • 1/3 cup cane sugar
  • 1 glass bottle of Pellegrino sparkling water (25.3 oz)

Instructions
 

  • First, juice the oranges over a fine mesh strainer into a large bowl.
  • Second, add cane sugar and stir until completely dissolved.
  • Third, add sparkling water, stir to combine, and enjoy!
