Cuisine American
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breast
- 1/2 cup apple butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a small bowl combine apple butter, salt, pepper, onion powder, and apple cider vinegar. Mix to combine.
Take each chicken breast and butterfly it. To do this you’ll cut the best horizinatally in half only 3/4 of the way through. Then you’ll open up the breast so it’ll be thin and large.
Dip each butterflied chicken breast in the apple butter mixture. Make sure each side is coated.
Place the opened chicken breasts on the sheet pan (make sure they're not touching) and spread the excess apple butter on top of the chicken breasts.
Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 25-30 minutes until cooked all the way through. Enjoy!
