Sourdough Garlic Bread

Molly LaFontaine
My sourdough garlic bread is quick to whip up in only 10 minutes! It's made with fresh garlic and salted butter. To quote my husband, "it's better than any restaurant's!" I love making this bread as a last-minute side dish or to go with pizza or pasta dishes. I hope this recipe replaces store-bought garlic bread in your home, just like it has in ours!

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • Add butter, minced garlic, parsley, and sea salt to a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat until butter is melted. Stir to evenly combine.
  • Brush slices of sourdough bread with garlic butter mixture on one side. Lay them butter side up on prepared sheet pan.
  • Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 5-8 minutes for a soft garlic bread or 10-15 minutes for a crisper garlic bread. Enjoy!
