Servings 1 loaf (2 sides)
1 loaf of sourdough French bread (see notes for my recipe if desired) 1/2 cup pesto (see notes for my recipe if desired) 1 cup grated parmesan 1 tsp garlic powder salt-free
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Slice the French bread in half horizontally so there is 2 long pieces.
Place both sides of the French bread crust-side down on a parchment lined sheet pan. The soft crumb side should be facing upward.
Spread 1/4 cup of pesto on each piece of French bread.
Then sprinkle 1/2 tsp of garlic powder on each piece of French bread.
Finally, add 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese on top of each piece of French bread.
Bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit. The cheese should be melted and the pesto warm.
Cut each piece of French bread into 1-2 inch slices and enjoy!
