Equipment

  • 1 blender
  • 1 Wooden Spoon
  • 1 Beeswax Wrap
  • 1 Watermelon Knife
  • 1 Glass Pitcher
  • 1 Large Glass Square
  • 1 fine mesh strainer

Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • 6 cups watermelon (cubed)
  • 1/2 cup pure cane sugar
  • 6 black tea bags

Instructions

  • First, boil 6 cups of water in a kettle (or pot) and pour boiling water over tea bags in a large glass bowl. Let the tea brew for 5 minutes
  • Next, while the tea is brewing, add 6 cups of cubed watermelon into a blender. Blend on high for 1 minute. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher.
  • Then, take tea bags out of the bowl and stir in pure cane sugar. Let cool for about 10 minutes.
  • Finally, once the tea is cooled, add to watermelon juice in the pitcher and stir until combined. Serve right away over ice or refrigerate for one hour or overnight. The longer you let iced tea sit the deeper the flavor. Enjoy!
