Watermelon Limeade From Scratch
Molly LaFontaine
There's something about sipping a cold glass of watermelon limeade on a hot day. It's refreshing, perfectly sweetened, and oh-so delicious. Inspired by a popular drink recipe I created last year, I had to create yet another iced watermelon drink.

Cuisine American
- 4 limes
- 1/2 cup pure cane sugar
- 6 cups watermelon cubes
- 3 cups of sparkling mineral water
First, squeeze the juice out of all 4 limes into a pitcher. Either add a strainer on top or remove the seeds while juicing.
Next, add cane sugar to the pitcher and stir until dissolved in lime juice.
Then slice your watermelon into medium-sized cubes or scoop the fruit with a spoon and add to a blender.
Blend for 30-40 seconds to ensure a smooth texture. When finished pour watermelon juice into the pitcher (if desired you can strain this juice with a fine mesh strainer but don't have to).
Finally, add in sparkling water and stir everything together until well combined. Serve over ice. Enjoy!
