Homemade Garlic Butter

Molly LaFontaine
My homemade garlic butter is made with only 3 simple ingredients. It's super easy to make and tastes so much better than any you'll get at a restaurant! Not to mention it's better for you. I came up with this recipe while trying to save money when ordering out pizza. Instead of buying a cup of garlic butter, I developed this recipe to make it at home. We've not bought garlic butter since! I hope you love it just as much as we do!
Prep Time 2 minutes
Total Time 2 minutes
Course Kitchen Staple
Cuisine American
Servings 1 serving

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp butter (I like to use salted grass-fed)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (salt-free)
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  • Either let butter sit out on the counter for 30 minutes until softened or soften in a pan over low heat on the stovetop (don't let it melt).
  • Once butter is softened, stir in garlic powder and salt. Enjoy immediately or place in the fridge in an airtight container.
