Mango Lemonade From Scratch

This healthier version of lemonade can be made in just 15 minutes using fresh mango, real lemon juice, pure cane sugar, and water. You won't have to bother with making stovetop syrup or waiting overnight to enjoy a glass of this deliciousness.

Equipment

  • 1 Blender or Food Processor
  • 1 pairing knife
  • 1 Glass Drink Pitcher
  • 1 Long Wooden Spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lemons
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar
  • 4 1/2 cups water
  • 2 1/2 cups mango chunks (about 3 mangos)

Instructions
 

  • First, squeeze lemons into a glass drink pitcher (remove seeds or squeeze over a strainer) and add in sugar stirring until combined.
  • Then cut up mangos into chunks (cut the mango cheeks and sides off the pit and score into chunks removing with thumb).
  • Next, add mango chunks into a blender with 2 1/2 cups of water, blending on high for 1 minute.
  • Finally, strain mango juice into your pitcher using a fine mesh strainer and add in additional 2 cups of water. Stir until combined, serve over ice or store in the refrigerator.

Notes

*for a deeper mango flavor store in the refrigerator for 3 hours before serving.
