Sourdough Avocado Toast (with everything bagel seasoning)

When I crave a savory breakfast my go-to is this easy sourdough avocado toast topped with everything bagel seasoning. The sourdough toast is a perfect base to hold a layer of creamy mashed avocado. Along with the salty, savory flakes of seasoning that provide a great texture. With just one bite, I bet you'll think it's as irresistible as I do!

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 of an avocado
  • 1 slice of sourdough bread
  • pinch of salt (if bagel seasoning has salt leave this out)
  • 1 tsp everything bagel seasoning

Instructions
 

  • Toast a slice of sourdough bread to your liking.
  • Cut an avocado in half vertically, twist open, and remove the seed.
  • Save one half in the fridge for later in an air-tight container (add lemon juice to prevent browning).
  • Scoop out the insides of the other half into a bowl.
  • Mash with a fork and sprinkle in sea salt.
  • Once the toast is done, use a fork to spread the mashed avocado on it.
  • Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top and enjoy!
