Substitutions
If you would like to you can substitute the following in this recipe:
- salted butter for unsalted butter
- leave out the powdered sugar or replace it with more honey (consistency will be different)

Add all ingredients into a small mixing bowl.
Use an electric mixer with a whisk attachment to whisk the ingredients until completely combined and smooth.
Place in an airtight container and store in the fridge for 2-3 weeks.

You can freeze this Roadhouse butter in an airtight freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. It freezes really well. When you want to thaw it out, just place it in the fridge overnight.
What Do You Eat Cinnamon Honey Butter With?
You can eat cinnamon honey butter with a lot of things! My favorite is spread on toasted sourdough artisan bread or my sourdough Texas Roadhouse rolls. But here’s a few other ideas:
- Spread some on a slice of sourdough apple bread (my husband’s favorite!)
- Serve with sourdough dinner rolls or honey butter dinner rolls.
- Spread a little on sourdough pancakes or sourdough waffles
- Serve it on sourdough pumpkin bread or sourdough pumpkin bagels for the best fall breakfast or snack.
