How to Make Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders
Bake the Bacon
Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and line a sheet pan with parchment paper.

Lay bacon out on the pan so strips aren’t touching. Season lightly with a dusting of sea salt and ground black pepper (not included in ingredient measurements).

Bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes or until crispy and fully baked.

Remove bacon from pan and set on a plate lined with paper towel or a napkin to remove excess grease. Cut each piece in half so they aren’t as big. Set aside.
Make the Burgers (while bacon cooks)

While bacon bakes, shape ground beef into 3 patties and place on a plate and into the fridge to chill for a couple of minutes (this helps them not fall apart as easily).
Heat a stainless steel skillet on medium heat. No oil needed.

Add sea salt, ground black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to a mixing bowl. Stir to combine and set aside.
Get patties out of fridge and season both sides with seasoning mix. Use it all.

Place burgers in warmed skillet and cook on medium heat for 6-8 minutes. Do not move while they cook. You can cover with a lid to prevent grease splattering.

Flip burgers and add cheese. Cook another 6 minutes or until they’re cooked to your liking.
Assemble the Sliders

Slice slider buns in half then spread the inside of the top bun with mayonnaise.

Add cooked beef patties to each bun and top with strips of bacon. Enjoy!
Variations
- Swap the mayonnaise for your favorite burger sauce.
- Add pickles if you enjoy them.
- Add lettuce, tomato, and/or onions for a little freshness.

Molly’s Tips
- Read the recipe before getting started so you know what to expect.
- Wait to make any adjustments until you’ve made it once.
- Serve them on homemade sourdough slider buns for the best taste!
- Don’t skip the quick chill in the fridge after you form the patties; it helps them keep from falling apart.
How to Store and Reheat Leftovers
Storing Instructions
Store cooled leftovers in an airtight container, preferably glass, in the fridge for up to 2 days. You can also freeze them for up to 1 month.
Reheating Instructions
Place slider into the oven at 375 degrees Fahrenheit until warm. If you’re reheating frozen, there’s no need to thaw.
