Every morning, I save any leftover coffee by storing it in a glass jar in the fridge. By lunchtime, it’s chilled and perfect for making cold brew recipes like Mexican mocha or vanilla sweet cream cold brew. Instead of heading to a local coffee shop after lunch, give this recipe a try. It will save you money, be better for your health, and taste absolutely amazing!

During our travels across the USA, my husband and I stumbled upon an authentic bakery in Santa Fe. There, I discovered an iced Mexican mocha latte that remains one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. Since we’re traveling less now, I wanted to recreate that flavor in our own kitchen. Inspired by my travels and a recipe for Mexican hot chocolate I learned back in high school, I crafted this delightful cold brew recipe.

What is Mexican Mocha?

Typically, this blend is sweetened using honey, pure maple syrup, or occasionally granulated sugar. You can incorporate this trio into various bases, including cold brew, hot coffee, hot chocolate, and even baked goods. The spiciness is usually mild, but it adds a perfect zing to your taste buds.
