Feta Naan Pizza (Sourdough or Regular)

My mom inspired my feta naan pizza recipe! She’s the one who came up with this idea when my brother and I were little. So I wanted to make my own version that tastes like home! You can use a homemade sourdough naan or a regular one from the store for this recipe. It’s got fresh feta cheese, olive oil, garlic powder, sea salt, and I like to add a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. I hope you love it as much as I do! P.S. This is a no-measure recipe.

This recipe is inspired by the salad served at Olive Garden . My recipe is not affiliated with or endorsed by the restaurant. This post may contain affiliate links of items I know and love. Inspiration Behind My Feta Naan Pizza Recipe

Like I said in the introduction of this recipe blog, my mom came up with this delicious idea when my brother and I were little.

She’d make them for our lunches, especially during the summer. They were simple and easy, but we loved them so much!

I always looked forward to naan pizza lunches. There was something about the soft naan mixed with crumbled feta that was just so savory and satisfying.

I loved them so much that I still eat them today in my mid-twenties! And so does my mom. We all still enjoy a good feta naan for lunch haha!

So I wanted to share this beloved family recipe with you, but with a few of my own additions!

  • Simple Steps: The steps are super simple and easy to follow.

  • No Measuring Needed: This is a no measurement recipe so you can just add as much as you’d like!

My Tips For Making Naan Pizzas

  1. Read the entire recipe before you get started so you know what to expect.
  2. If you can, make the naan at home from scratch. They taste so much better!
  3. Use a block of feta instead of crumbles. It has fewer additives and tastes fresher.
  4. Use the broiler for a few minutes if you’re in a hurry.

My Favorite Naan for This Recipe

I love using homemade sourdough naan. They are extra delicious and full of fermentation benefits! But you can use any you’d like.

How I Like To Serve Naan Bread Pizza

My husband and I love these pizzas on their own for lunch, but we also love having a refreshing side like fruit to go along with them. Here are a few side dish ideas:

Storage Instructions

Store in an airtight container, preferably glass, for 3-4 days in the refrigerator.

Freezing and Thawing Instructions

You can freeze them by wrapping them individually in parchment paper, then placing them in a freezer bag or container. They’ll last up to 3 months in the freezer.

Thaw in the fridge overnight before enjoying them. Or reheat straight from the freezer in the oven.

I like to cook mine in the oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 14 minutes, but you can also use a toaster oven or a grill.

I don’t have an air fryer, so I’m not sure, but you can give it a try.
