Inspiration Behind My Non Alcoholic Holiday Punch Recipe

With the holidays just around the corner, I wanted to create a fun punch without alcohol that would be perfect to serve with any holiday meal.

Growing up, my mom would always serve sparkling apple or grape juice with our holiday meals. It was the few times of year we would get a bottle, and I looked forward to it!

So now that I make holiday meals for my husband and I, I wanted to create my own version of a bubbly holiday drink. I wanted it to be wholesome and easy to make.

I chose fresh oranges and pure pomegranate juice as my winter fruit base, added sparkling mineral water instead of a soft drink to eliminate excess sugar, and sweetened it with honey. It’s a delicious recipe that I can’t wait for you to try!

Tips for Making My Sparkling Punch Recipe

  • Use 100% pomegranate juice with zero added sugar. You don’t want to have any additives.
  • Choose large oranges so you get the most juice out of them.
  • Don’t skip the fresh oranges, they taste much better than store-bought orange juice.
  • Don’t over mix the punch after adding sparkling water. It will reduce the carbonation.
  • Serve this punch right away so the fizz from the sparkling water is fresh and bubbly.

Is this holiday punch healthy?

In my opinion, yes! It uses only 4 wholesome ingredients: raw honey, pure pomegranate juice, fresh oranges, and sparkling mineral water.

Can I use cranberry juice instead of pomegranate?

I’ve not tried it, but you’re more than welcome to. You may need to add a little extra honey since cranberries are more tart than pomegranates.

You can use whatever brand you can find. Just ensure it’s 100% pure pomegranate juice and plain sparkling water.

Is this a kid-friendly punch recipe?
