Sourdough Pesto Garlic Bread
Every bite of this sourdough pesto garlic bread is full of fresh basil pesto, parmesan, and garlic. It doesn’t get much better than that! It’s the perfect side for pasta night, pizza night, or by itself for a light and fresh snack. This recipe post includes a video tutorial so you can make it alongside me, step-by-step!

Pesto Bread
This pesto cheese bread is such a delicious recipe! It’s fresh and light, perfect for springtime, holidays, parties, and even a snack. It’s super easy to make and makes your house smell amazing!

Ingredients You’ll Need

- sourdough french bread – you can also use regular store-bought French bread
- pesto – homemade basil pesto is the best but you can use premade
- grated parmesan – fresh parmesan grated is best
- garlic powder – make sure it’s salt-free

How to Make Sourdough Pesto Garlic Bread

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Slice the French bread in half horizontally so there is 2 long pieces.

Place both sides of the French bread crust-side down on a parchment lined sheet pan. The soft crumb side should be facing upward.

Spread 1/4 cup of pesto on each piece of French bread.

Then sprinkle 1/2 tsp of garlic powder on each piece of French bread.

Finally, add 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese on top of each piece of French bread.

Bake for 15 minutes. The cheese should be melted and the pesto warm.

Cut each piece of French bread into 1-2 inch slices and enjoy!
