Benefits of Drinking this Hot Chocolate

This healthy hot chocolate has many benefits. You get good fats from the coconut milk. The cocoa powder provides a wholesome, heart-healthy chocolate taste. As well as the honey sweetens the mixture with easy-to-digest unprocessed sugars.

Best Cocoa Powder to Use for this Recipe

My favorite cocoa powder to use is anything unsweetened any pure. I switch between Trader Joes Store Brand or Hershey’s. Both have wonderful flavor. I do not recommend Walmart’s Great Value brand or Kroger’s store brand. They both have a very diluted chocolate flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups (14 oz) coconut milk (any kind)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 Tbsp raw honey
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract (not imitation)
