My whipped sorghum butter is so simple to make at home! It’s a great swap for honey butter, especially on dinner rolls! The flavor of sorghum is lighter and sweeter than molasses, making it perfect for mixing with butter.
Growing up, my mom had a jar of sorghum in our pantry, and so did my grandma. We didn’t have it often, but the few times Mom got it out, I always loved the smell. So, I wanted to grab a jar of my own and create something with it, which led to this recipe!
You can use sorghum butter in so many ways, spread it on dinner rolls, corn muffins, or even turnovers. It’s a great replacement for regular butter and a great swap for honey butter.
